Enpasso is a product operated by NeuraGuide Limited (“we”, “our”, “us”). We operate the chess coaching platform available at enpasso.com and are the data controller for personal data collected through this service. If you have questions, contact us at privacy@enpasso.com.
Account information
When you create an account we collect your email address and, optionally, your name. If you sign in via a third-party identity provider, we receive your name and email address from that provider.
Chess data
Games you import (PGN files or via Lichess), positions you analyse, puzzles you attempt, and coaching conversations are stored to provide the service.
Third-party connections
If you connect a third-party chess account (such as Lichess), we store an access token securely to import your games on your behalf.
Usage data
We collect usage data such as page views and feature interactions to improve Enpasso. For logged-in users, this information is linked to your account only to help us make the product better.
Payment data
Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We receive subscription status and plan information but never store your card number or payment credentials.

AI Services
Our AI features are powered by third-party AI providers. Your coach messages and chess positions are sent to these providers to generate coaching responses. Do not include sensitive personal information in coach messages.
Paystack
Subscription billing and credit top-ups are processed by Paystack. When you subscribe, your email address and payment details are handled by Paystack. We receive only your subscription status and plan — your card details never touch our servers.
PostHog
We use PostHog for product analytics. PostHog receives page views, feature interactions, and — for logged-in users — an anonymous account identifier to associate events with your account. Data is processed and stored in the EU. PostHog does not use this data for advertising.
Lichess (when connected)
If you connect your Lichess account, we store a secure access token to import your games on your behalf. Lichess’s own privacy policy governs data on their platform.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Deleting your account from the settings page immediately and permanently removes your profile, imported games, repertoires, prep sessions, coaching conversations, and connected third-party tokens. Anonymised usage data may be retained indefinitely.

Enpasso is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact support@enpasso.com and we will delete it promptly.
We use cookies only for essential site functions such as keeping you signed in and supporting secure connections. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls on our database. No transmission over the internet is 100% secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice in the application. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
