Getting Started
Enpasso is an AI-powered chess coaching platform. Import your games from Lichess or via PGN, review them with an AI coach, solve daily puzzles, and receive a personalised training program built around your specific weaknesses.
No. You can import games manually via PGN, or create an Enpasso account and use the platform independently. Connecting Lichess is optional and simply makes importing games faster.
Go to Games → Import. You can paste a PGN directly, or connect your Lichess account in Settings to import games automatically.
Coaching Credits
Coaching credits pay for AI coach messages, board annotations, and lesson generation. Free accounts receive 30 credits every 30 days. Pro accounts receive 500 credits per billing cycle. Elite accounts receive 3,000 credits per billing cycle.
Your active balance never drops to zero. Monthly plan credits refresh each billing cycle, but one-time credit top-ups are kept in a separate balance and never expire.
You'll see a notice in the coach workspace. You can upgrade your plan or purchase a one-time credit top-up. Top-ups never expire and remain available alongside your plan allowance.
Plans & Billing
Yes, at any time. Go to Settings → Billing and open the customer portal. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Go to Settings → Billing and open the customer portal. From there you can switch plans, update your payment method, or cancel.
Yes. Payments are processed securely through Paystack, and we never store your card details on our servers.
Refund requests are handled case by case. If you believe you were charged in error, email billing@enpasso.com and we'll review it.
Lichess Integration
Go to Settings → Platforms and click "Connect Lichess". You'll be redirected to Lichess to authorise the connection. Once connected, you can import your games directly.
Enpasso requests read access to your Lichess game history. We do not request permission to play games on your behalf or access private messages.
Go to Settings → Platforms and click "Disconnect". This removes the connection and deletes the stored access token.
The AI Coach
The coach is powered by a frontier large language model selected for chess reasoning quality. Positional and tactical evaluations are backed by a top-tier chess engine running locally in your browser.
Yes. Go to Settings → Coach Personality and choose from five styles: Balanced, Encouraging, Strict, Analytical, or Socratic. Each changes the tone and teaching approach.
Yes. Your coaching conversations are saved and available when you return to the coach workspace. You can start a new session at any time.
